Failed Dreams


She was a young girl that lived across the street. She had the cutest face and dimples that was like no other. I was and have always been a shy boy. Every time she stepped out of her house across the street, it was as if I had an automatic notification. I would always peep through our window and watch her walk gracefully, I would stare at her and wallow in self-pity because I wasn’t bold enough to reach out to her and every time she walks pass my house and glanced at my window, I would jump off out of fear, hoping she didn’t notice I was starring.
I had zero confidence in myself and I always took out that frustration by hitting anything and everything in sight till I fill so much pain and then I would sulk and cry the pain out. It was so much torture. I just couldn’t help but think of her every time I saw her and even when I didn’t but I was always shy of relieving myself of this gruesome pain and excessive burden until one day, she came out of her house and as usual,  I peeped through the window. She walked through the street with so much tranquility and carefulness. It almost seemed like she knew I was starring at her.
She looked back and waved. I got heart struck immediately and swiftly moved away from the window not knowing that was a good bye wave. I smiled and was happy about this but unfortunately she was reported dead the next day as she was hit by a bus on her way back home. I felt extremely traumatized as tears couldn't stop pouring from my eyes and everyother part of my body knowing fully well that my emotions and feelings for her died in me without expressing myself.

LESSON - NEVER EVER ALLOW YOUR DREAMS BE LIKE A MAN WHO CAN'T EXPRESS HIS FEELINGS TO A LADY UNTIL HE LOOSES HIS CHANCE AND ALLOWS THIS FEELING  DIE AND DECAY IN HIM. BE CONFIDENT ENOUGH TO TAKE ACTIONS TO ACHIEVING YOUR DREAMS AND ASPIRATIONS UNTIL IT AGRRES TO FALL IN LOVE WITH YOU AND OBEY YOUR EVERY COMMAND. YOU CAN MAKE IT ONLY IF YOU FACE YOUR FEARS AND TAKE THOSE BIG STEPS SO FIND THE KNOWLEDGE ESSENTIAL FOR YOU TO ACHIEVE YOUR FUTURE AMBITIONS AND LET OUT YOUR CAGED POTENTIALS.

Heroes Nation Social Change Ambassadors did a very wonderful sanitation exercises at Ipata Market, Ilorin, Kwara State. Where the SDGs (Goals 3, 6 & 13) were the Focus of the Sanitation and Sensitization today. The exercise commenced at 7am with the presence of the Nigerian Red Cross Ilorin Chapter, Corp members of sanitation and environment CDS, Kwara State ministry of environment and some volunteers who heard about the project from friends and social media publicity. While the sanitation exercise was going on, a group of heroes nation ambassadors took time in sensitizing the buyer and sellers present at the market on the benefit of staying dirt free using different Nigerian languages, this created a bond between the heroes nations representatives and the Ipata Marketers. A mistake is simply something you missed in an attempt to take it and that means you can always make a right take in your next attempt.  Come out of regrets! If you made a mis-take, attempt a re-take so that you can make a right-take. Don't let a wrong step give birth to a wrong life and a wrong future... Without a movement there cannot be a move... You can't resist the Will of God and receive the Grace of God at the same time. Life is a Race on the line of Grace. Outside the line is outside Grace. Life Expectations.

Life is all about challenges, obstacles and hurdles towards achieving the great height of success. Our reaction to these present the person we really are. Expectations in life is a very critical issue but so many of us sees it as a norm.  Like everyone should have what they are expectant of! Dont get it twisted, when I mean expectation, I am referring to giving and receiving. Sometimes ago, a friend of mine was critically ill but all glory to God he struggled to recovery stage, at the point of recovery, he picked up his mobile and started listing out names of friends to eliminate from his life. Why? Some even go as far as saying; "Its God that allowed me know the kinda person you are" cos they at some point don't meet up to your intents.
