Conqueror

It seems so unbelievable that my greatest fear this year caught up with me in no time. Though I saw it coming but I overlooked every thought of it and waved it off... The reason been ... I really don't know but what I know is ...where I am now is just a phase of God telling me I'm different, I'm special and He has a purpose for me - Same goes to you! Stay put, you are a conqueror!✌💯 Enjoy this lyrics and I hope it get you up in no time..... Flourish in the rest of the week!  " Conqueror " lyrics Empire Cast Lyrics "Conqueror" (feat. Estelle & Jussie Smollett) Life is like a big merry-go-round, You're up and then down, Going in circles trying to get to where you are. Everybody's been counting you out, But where are they now? Sitting in the same old place, Just faces in the crowd. We all make mistakes, You might fall on your face, But you gotta get up! [Chorus:] I'd rather stand tall Than live on my knees,

Waste no time

DON'T WASTE TIME. The first question that I ask when whenever anyone ask for my opinion on an idea or something they wanna venture into is 'Do you truly love it?' and when I get a confident 'Yes'. I'll say 'don't waste time'. Make the necessary changes and plans. Do things that would build you up in every aspect rather than involving in activities that does not contribute to your greatness, success or happiness. To help you manage your time, try to make a plan and stick to it no matter how difficult it seems to be. 'Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new' - Albert Einstein.  Yes mistakes makes helps us learn alot of times. Don't keep repeating same process in which you've previously failed because that's insanity and you're only wasting and killing time. Choose or use an alternative if you think plan 'A' is failing, B to Z is there for use, just pick one up. Always say NO and mean

Aftermath of falling in love

FALLING IN LOVE; THE AFTERMATH IF IT GOES WRONG Falling in love is beautiful... when you really are in love, you want to make time stop, you'll want to be in the arms of your lover forever because to you its where you belong you wish never for them to let go of you, you feel this big joy inside of you whenever you think of them they gat you smiling at your phone whenever their name pops Up, you feel satisfied, fulfilled, content like there was a vacuum inside of  you before they came into the picture and now it's filled, you are happy with yourself.... but when after all this.., a hitch happens someone stopped caring, stopped doing the little things that matters- someone that is definitely not you- you tried reaching out for him/her, you tried making it all good but only to realise that they've gotten out of your reach that even your cries and pleas seems distant or out of their hearing range when they don't even see the silent tears on your face perhap

EPL ROUND UP

In a game that saw Serge Aurier shown a red card for a second bookable offence, Tottenham Hostspurs won Westham 2 - 3 at the London stadium as Harry Kane got a brace. Other scorers in the game were C. Ekrisen, J. Hernandez and C. Kouyate. Burnley were held to a goalless draw by Huddersfield Town as Everton came from a goal down to beat AFC Bournemouth 2 - 1, thanks to Baye Oumar Niass's brace that canceled Joshua King's first half goal. Brace from R. Sterling & lone goals from Leroy Sane, S. Aguero, F. Delph were all that were needed to see off Crystal Palace 5 - 0 in the Eithad stadium. R. Lukaku continued his goal scoring form by netting the lone goal as Manchester United defeated Southampton 0 - 1. Andre Gray gave Watford the led but on loan Tammy Abraham made it 1 - 1 but Richarlison 90' goal made sure Swansea City were defeated 1 - 2 at home. Stock city couldn't stop Chelsea as they lost 0 - 4, thanks to treble from A. Morata and a lone goal from Pedro. Le

Alvaro Morata scores treble

Sergio Aguero became the first to net a hat-trick at the ongoing 2017/2018 EPL season as they demolished Watford 6 - 0. Well, Alvaro Morata was also on the treble list a week later as Chelsea Fc won Stock City 0 - 4 at the Britannia (bet365) stadium last night go go home with the match ball. It was all Spanish affairs as Pedro (who also scored), Fabregas and Azpilicueta were all involved in either of the goals. Since he has been scoring with his head he did score all hat-trick with his right feet last night to become the blues player to do so in the EPL since Diego Costa did so against Swansea in 2014. Conte praised his team while saying ‘Alvaro performed very well. He scored a hat-trick and for a striker this is very important, and don’t forget the last game it happened the same with Batshuayi. It means we create chances for our strikers. I'm pleased for his performance and the performance of the team. It is not easy to win away games against Stoke, this game is always difficult

How to raise strong and independent children.

Raising strong and independent children is a must for every parent, it is only the parent perhaps the guardian of a child that can achieve this, it starts from the orientation to what life is all about and how the child can succeed in its ups and downs that is embedded in the child. My Dad always sounds it in my ears "Simi, you must be tough. Being girlish and being ladylike is not an excuse for weakness". This he still says to I and my sisters till this very day. All the children were raised to do the "masculine" as well as the "feminine" tasks. My sisters and I started winding a 15KVA generator as soon as we got one. I learnt how to wash a car (internal and external) before the age of 16. I started learning how to drive immediately after secondary school. My Dad told me that before he allows me drive out independently, that I must learn to change car tyres. I remember I was forming ajebutter and my Dad said to me "If you are driving on a lon

Failed Dreams

She was a young girl that lived across the street. She had the cutest face and dimples that was like no other. I was and have always been a shy boy. Every time she stepped out of her house across the street, it was as if I had an automatic notification. I would always peep through our window and watch her walk gracefully, I would stare at her and wallow in self-pity because I wasn’t bold enough to reach out to her and every time she walks pass my house and glanced at my window, I would jump off out of fear, hoping she didn’t notice I was starring. I had zero confidence in myself and I always took out that frustration by hitting anything and everything in sight till I fill so much pain and then I would sulk and cry the pain out. It was so much torture. I just couldn’t help but think of her every time I saw her and even when I didn’t but I was always shy of relieving myself of this gruesome pain and excessive burden until one day, she came out of her house and as usual,  I peeped throu

RISE ABOVE THE STORM

Atop the podium, Amidst them all. I stood there, As tall as my thin, shaky legs could carry me. I saw the many eyes, Staring at me. And I caught sight of her eyes, Boring straight into mine, Telling me to believe in myself, And begging me to hold it in. I shut my eyes and pictured it, Exactly what I wanted to be. So when I flicked it open, I knew I just had to be it. I calmed myself and let it flow, Keeping my head as high as I could. And when I was done, I knew, That whoever I had become, Was the new version of me. They were moved and wowed, I nailed it, or so they said. I again caught sight of her eyes, This time filled with tears, Those laced with happiness. And with my eyes, I screamed, I did it! © Nanaaysha     Whatever happens, rise above the storm and believe in Yourself, because there's no better you.

APPRECIATED

It’s always a hurtful thing when we don’t feel appreciated or loved when we perform a good deed or help out in different ways that we can, especially for people we hold dear to our hearts. Funny thing is, everyone (Like God, our father) loves to be appreciated or acknowledged for a job well done or for a stitch in time that we make, and there is nothing wrong with that. In a small way we are all heroes. For us to acknowledge the work of others or the effort of friendships or any kind of relationship in our lives, we need to have an increased measure of sensitivity and a heart of gratitude. These magic words are short, simple to understand and are easy to apply but are not used as often as they should: Thank you, I love you, that’s thoughtful, Please, That’s thoughtful and I appreciate it, you did a great job; keep it up, etc. As important as words can be, nothing is more proving of your gratitude than your actions. Actions speak louder than words, you know? Another way to s

I CAN

There's always a way to do everything. There's nothing named "CAN'T". Too often we fail in our efforts because we have been brought up believing that we cannot do some things. The people who change the world are people who have taken impossible out of their dictionaries. The men and women who make changes in history are those who came against the odds and believing that it's impossible for the odds to stop them. No one can determine how much you can produce except you and God. So there is nothing in this world that should stop you from accomplishing, realising, fulfilling and maximising your full potential.  If you think it, you can do it. If you can conceive it, the fact that you can conceive it means you can do it.  It doesn't matter if it's never been done. Likewise, if you never THOUGHT of it, then you can't do it. Thinking doesn't get it done alone, it also implies that you can do it. Picture yourself doing the things in your tho

SPIRIT IN BEAUTY

Beauty ««« The beauty  of a woman  isn't in the  clothes she wears, the figure that she carries or the way she combs her hair...   The beauty of a woman must be seen in her eyes; that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. ««« The beauty of a woman isn't in a facial mole, but beauty of a true woman reflects by her soul, it's the caring that she has to give and the passion that she shows. ««« A woman beautiful spirit is not in her beauty or appearance but within her or who she is;  And the beauty of a woman with passing years glows despite the aging skin. ««« Remember; no beauty last forever; it is only for a period of time, cos it will surely fade... So a true lasting beauty is a woman of a GOOD CHARACTER. It's a good character that triggered out all the hidden and inner beauty she possess. No matter how her facials looks, her character will always stand her out. MISSION STATEMENT: Are you truly a beautiful woman? Let's your charact

The Optimistic Feeling

Have The Optimistic Feeling! Have your sit and see how far you've come. Once in a while, you have to say to yourself,  "I've tried". Come to think of it, some didn't come this far, but guess what, You did. It's a normal feeling you sometimes get angry at yourself. Even in that feeling,  it's best to be optimistic. I once heard, "A calm and optimist view can even save a crash landing". Sounds unusual right? But that's how it is when you give a view your optimism. Breathe a sigh of relief. Clean your tears so you could see clearly what beautiful thing life has got in stock for you. Only if you're OPTIMISTIC. Your optimism even when things looks dark and later gets brightened makes you an Optimist that gave Optimistic view which makes it optimistic. 'Lizzy.

I AM GAY

Yes, I am Gay! I am not God - I am but a man, and tonight - I will fade like atupa - for my beliefs that I'd never rescind. I am a man - and I am gay. When Gomorrah was reduced to crumbles, the human world didn't end.. the scrolls of the dead sea are - in that cave, by the saltwater lake... and when we multiplied, the beliefs multiplied.. I am that man, who recognized his mother with paintings - simply because she slept off - after the baby was born. I am that man, who seek refuge from women - and was ridiculed like a shred of rag - He is weak. But is it weakness, to seek from light from the women - with lanterns ? I am that man who knew not - how it feels to be loved, by a woman. I got shelter, from a man who wasn't my father - but then I had a father - a father, who vanished into Abisem , leaving his innocent son to the claws - of the full blown world. And now, I got peace - from a man who wasn't my father. He was a widower -

Dazzling Super Eagles of Nigeria Slays The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon.

It was an awesome evening for the fans of the Super Eagles of Nigeria as they were thrilled with various spectacular skills from both team. The Nigerian side captained by John Mikel Obi were the first to start asking the questions when the goal from Victor Moses was ruled for offside. Well, they kept pushing as Obi sets up Igalo who beats his marker to give in a low drive shot to score. It was Moses who crossed in a corner kick which was met by Mikel and he did score to give the team a 2 - 0 lead at half time. Having made a substitution at half time, the Cameroonians started to try so as to get back into the game but the Nigerian shot stopper (I. Ezenwa from FC Ifeanyi Uba) proofed that he can be Nigeria's number 1 in the place of the indisposed Carl Ikeme who is currently battling with cancer. V. Moses made it 3 - 0 after his name sake Simon Moses gave him a pass inside the 18 yard area and he perfectly put the ball into the back of the net with his left foot. After Igalo ca

Salah Friday

Permit me to do a recap on how my day went. After I finished having a nice time with my friends over Skype, I reluctantly agreed to run errands for my mum who has decided to celebrate the Muslim festive public holiday on her bed. I got done with all I had to do at the market. I boarded a fully loaded bus of which I was the last to get in so I sat close to the entrance. While on motion, suddenly, the man beside the driver stood up and was heading towards the back seat trying to jump. I was wondering what was happening, initially I thought his phone was ringing but I later noticed it was the passenger beside him he was running away from.  The unfortunate passenger was Epileptic.  He had an attack. I was courageous enough to stay put and not jump out of the bus due to the tension and commotion going on in the bus. Luckily, the road was a bit free so the driver was able to navigate to the slow lane bringing the bus to a halt.    I wondered what I could do to help the situation, but I

Hello September!

Yes! Come In! Oh! its you, September. We've been looking forward to your visit. The ninth month of twelve in a year, the first 'ember' month. Myth has it that months ending with 'ember' are dangerous and pathetic maybe because it indicate that the year is coming to an end, so everyone is trying hard to make ends meet. Whether true or not, we should be careful of the urge to get rich quick, the spirit only makes us rootless and vulnerable. In this new month, let us forgive quickly and love each other irrespective of our tribes, age, status and religion. In unity and love, we would live happily together in our beloved country Nigeria. I wish you fruitfulness and enrichment in this ninth month of the year. Always let your voice be heard, be strong and be determined to achieve that which you dream of. Go radiate your creator's glory to the world. Welcome to September! Happy New Month! To my Muslim readers, I say congrats. May the reason behind the season be
