24HOURS TO GO!!!!!  SOME OF THEM ARE BLIND, yet they are creative... We snapped some of the things the blind did and attached they are such as bead female bags, bead made flower vase, bead made purses, bead made trays, etc...  I wanted to make a video of them doing another one in our presence but they had no materials, we just had to see the blind teacher off the same way she came.  SOME OF THEM ARE MENTALLY CHALLENGED but yet they are not on the street and they sit in classrooms (That are not even conducive again) and they learn creative things from the studio.  YOU ARE THINKING OF THE DEAF too, their Communication skills and ability and willingness to learn is second to none.  THEY WANT TO BE LIKE ME AND YOU WITH GOOD EYES, EARS AND MENTAL CONDITIONS BUT THEY CAN'T.  Yet should they even lack basic life necessities and materials to empower them???    I Scream a loud NO!!!! Join your voices and let's together put smiles on the face...

Integrity {Part II}

Question and answer on Integrity. Presenter: We welcome Miss Adeyanju Opeoluwa life on BlogSpot. And today we’ll be taking integrity as a case study. Opeyanju, can you tell us what you refer to as integrity? Opeyanju: I take integrity to be an undivided or unbroken completeness or totality with nothing wanting…WHOLENESS, UNITY. Sometimes success, riches, wealth, prosperity, friends, challenges to mention a few will come and go and at some point may visit again but INTEGRITY stands. PRESENTER: hmm, amazing. Any other idea on Integrity? OPEYANJU: Well, I believe the integrity of an individual is his completeness. And by that I refer to every part of his life excluding nothing. It is a state of total obedience, holding on to your word at all times, having a quality of honesty with strong moral principles. PRESENTER: That’s really captivating though, but the heart-breaking thing is that we do not live in a world of integrity anymore. Do you think we can still live a life of int...

PROMISES

Sometimes ago, I found myself walking out of a really tight friendship zone. I loathe my actions looking at the memories with this dear friend, I discovered I had made a whole lot of mistakes, presently I still discard those memories because I made some promises that I personally knew I couldn't fulfill. After the incident, I decided to avoid or completely stop making promises (as the case may be). Promises, as we all know is making a future or advance commitment, dedication or prediction. Most of us make a lot of promises but have we really thought about fulfilling the previous debt? Making promises can be very dangerous if we don't fulfill them. We carry them on our necks everywhere we go and they secretly affect our lives. When we see the people who we had made the promises to, we tend to feel startled and pray they don’t remember our debts. Avoiding promises can be practiced; at least it leaves us on a safer side. It helps us live a free life which is preferred to ...

Secret Disciples

Secret Disciples When we do things in life, sometimes we think we do them out of pleasure, or out of personal interest but we are totally wrong. Especially when we do them for personal interest,we feel no one is watching us except God. Funny enough,some of us even know what are engaged into is very wrong and we intentionally say " God forgive me, I just have to do this" or 'Father in Heaven, forgive me for this thing am about to do'.    The plan truth is that there is one little person whom we do not know exist,sitting somewhere watching us- our dressing,our moves,the way we react to issues of life- in fact watching everything about us. That little( or maybe an adult) person is called our SECRET DISCIPLE. May be referred to as Secret Admirer also.     Our secret admirer wants to be like us,wants to do everything we do,imitate and imbibe our lifestyles - sing the songs we sing the way we sing them, make the same moves we make with our hands and head, follow the p...

Integrity (Part 1)

   Integrity    Very popular but less functional. Integrity is simply the state of being wholesome (i.e. sound and healthy, promoting moral and mental well-being) and unimpaired (i.e. not rendered less effective). Let's do a simple mental class. Give your own definition of integrity while I give mine. STATE-BEING OF SOUND AND HEALTHINESS/WHOLESOMENESS. Integrity is taking your first bath of the previous day around 12:30 am of a new day. STATE OF UNIMPAIRED. Integrity is starting a meeting by the set time regardless the number of people present so as to be able to meet the set closing time of that meeting On the other hand, Integrity is doing the right thing at the right time in the right place with the right materials with or without the right people to watch, supervise or judge. Are you a being of integrity? Do you keep to you words? Have you a firm Yes and a solid No? Do you compromise a little bit? Do you bend your values and standards to please oth...

Love Language

Love Language This is the way of expressing one's love feelings towards one's family, friend, spouse, girlfriend, or any other loved one Primary Language of Love: I refer to this as the best preferred way or act to express one's love to another person. Major Love Languages are: 1. Words of affirmation 2. Giving of gifts 3. Acts of service 4. Quality time 5. Physical touch All humans have one or more of the 5 major Love Languages as part of their attribute. They show it unconsciously to everyone they get closely related to. Most people don't know their Love Languages and that's part of the reasons they have interpersonal problems relating among friends, associates, colleagues, families etc. Love Languages aren't only for people sexually related or people in love but exist among friends and family. It is the way you presently relate with siblings, families and friends that you most likely extend to that soul mate of yours. Some people don't s...

YES! YOU CAN.

Why are you doubting the capacity of your ability? Why are you scared of launching the goodies in you? Making the precious stones to glitter is one of the paramount thing why we are created. Do you know that  MTN came to Nigeria at a time when nobody wanted to invest in Nigeria, at a time when Nigerians did not have phones. Even Zenith Bank refused to loan MTN cash to operate,UBA rejected MTN's offer but today see the difference. What about Cowbell? When they came to Nigeria,they made milk in a sachet, Peak was laughing at them - they said Cowbell was milk for the poor - but they were right! 3-million poor people could afford N10 a day for a sachet of milk.Oya, do the math - 3 million people buying milkat N10.00- that was N30million every single day.In a month they grossed N900million (almost N1billion).Even Peak had to make sachet milk in order to survive in the market. So what have people told you?What have they said you cannot do, or you do not qualify for, or...

CHRONICLES

THE CHRONICLES. A chronicle is a written account of events: the documentation of when an event happened, how it happened, the time and place it happened.    That brings me further to ask, what does your chronicle look like? What does it say about you? Your chronicle can define and defend you anywhere and at the same time can mare and disgrace you anywhere even in your absence.     What kind of life do you live that makes your chronicle shout for help? Even those chronicles we feel that they can’t speak, can speak very clearly!    Friends, I challenge you to live a life filled with peace with all men, righteousness and the consciousness of God, living each day as if it were your last, knowing that  a chronicle is been updated at the end of each day. Good news is, it’s not too late, our history is still in the making and a new chronicle can still be compiled. We all have an ample chance to make a difference and have a s...

Chain Of Exchange

CHAIN OF EXCHANGE We all can remember trade by barter. Even though some may not have been born when this act was in existence but have definitely heard about it. Even from the name we can clearly understand what it means. Permit me to ask a question: do people always expect a receiving in every of their giving? Your guess is as good as mine. Most people do! Too many people give out to await some form of receiving in return from the person on the receiving end…more like a “chain of exchange”, especially when it involves different genders i.e. a male assisting a female or perhaps vice versa. There’s usually this tendency to ask for a relationship (or even something more) at the end of such giving. This exchange has become the basis of so many relationships today which has led to many heart breaks because they believe they must always have something in exchange for whatever they give. True giving is in learning how to give without having to expect anything in return. It’s a goo...

Precious Stones

Precious Stones Hmmmmnnn…Precious stones What is the first thing that strikes your mind at the sight and sound of precious stones? Literally, a precious stone is a natural, beautiful, priceless, expensive, adorable and cherished stone. Examples of them are Diamond, Gold, sapphire, franchise; yeah we can mention hundreds of them nonstop. But come to think of it, can’t we humans refer to ourselves as precious stones and let our names be examples of such? Yes, very achievable! Friends, you can refer to yourself as a precious stone because you carry adorable stone(s) in you, so precious that nothing can destroy; a glittering stone brighter than diamond, an expensive stone costlier than gold, unaffordable to just anybody. What is that stone in you? Have you discovered that jewel in you? Do you know you have a precious talent? Your talent is your marked natural ability or skill. You see the word ‘marked’ is underlined; it is because it is your valuable stone, that thing tha...
