Chain Of Exchange

CHAIN OF EXCHANGE

We all can remember trade by barter. Even though some may not have been born when this act was in existence but have definitely heard about it. Even from the name we can clearly understand what it means.

Permit me to ask a question: do people always expect a receiving in every of their giving? Your guess is as good as mine. Most people do! Too many people give out to await some form of receiving in return from the person on the receiving end…more like a “chain of exchange”, especially when it involves different genders i.e. a male assisting a female or perhaps vice versa. There’s usually this tendency to ask for a relationship (or even something more) at the end of such giving. This exchange has become the basis of so many relationships today which has led to many heart breaks because they believe they must always have something in exchange for whatever they give.

True giving is in learning how to give without having to expect anything in return. It’s a good thing to learn how to give cheerfully and wholeheartedly when you find yourself in a position to do so.

The popular saying ‘givers never lack’ is actually a very good quote and wise saying. Reason being that the quote didn’t say anything about your receiving but at the same time says ‘they never lack’. Giving to others is a beautiful thing, because he who gives will surely receive back in folds in some way or the other. But, giving without expecting anything in return is the height of true giving. If I give out, you give out, he gives out and she gives out, it all comes down to the giver receiving. It is a chain, just like the world in spherical shape, the chain goes round and round again, and then we discover we lack in no area of life.

Make a decision today to touch a soul, help the weak and give a helping hand when you can without necessarily expecting any form of exchange. That is when you have truly given.

You have never really lived until you help someone who cannot repay you!

We have been witnessing cleaning exercises but this one got a different grading. Heroes Nation Social Change Ambassadors did a very wonderful sanitation exercises at Ipata Market, Ilorin, Kwara State. Where the SDGs (Goals 3, 6 & 13) were the Focus of the Sanitation and Sensitization today. The exercise commenced at 7am with the presence of the Nigerian Red Cross Ilorin Chapter, Corp members of sanitation and environment CDS, Kwara State ministry of environment and some volunteers who heard about the project from friends and social media publicity. While the sanitation exercise was going on, a group of heroes nation ambassadors took time in sensitizing the buyer and sellers present at the market on the benefit of staying dirt free using different Nigerian languages, this created a bond between the heroes nations representatives and the Ipata Marketers. This activity revealed some of the heart cries of some of the marketers who marveled at the energetic, cheerful and interactive ...

Love Language

Love Language This is the way of expressing one's love feelings towards one's family, friend, spouse, girlfriend, or any other loved one Primary Language of Love: I refer to this as the best preferred way or act to express one's love to another person. Major Love Languages are: 1. Words of affirmation 2. Giving of gifts 3. Acts of service 4. Quality time 5. Physical touch All humans have one or more of the 5 major Love Languages as part of their attribute. They show it unconsciously to everyone they get closely related to. Most people don't know their Love Languages and that's part of the reasons they have interpersonal problems relating among friends, associates, colleagues, families etc. Love Languages aren't only for people sexually related or people in love but exist among friends and family. It is the way you presently relate with siblings, families and friends that you most likely extend to that soul mate of yours. Some people don't s...

Aftermath of falling in love

FALLING IN LOVE; THE AFTERMATH IF IT GOES WRONG Falling in love is beautiful... when you really are in love, you want to make time stop, you'll want to be in the arms of your lover forever because to you its where you belong you wish never for them to let go of you, you feel this big joy inside of you whenever you think of them they gat you smiling at your phone whenever their name pops Up, you feel satisfied, fulfilled, content like there was a vacuum inside of  you before they came into the picture and now it's filled, you are happy with yourself.... but when after all this.., a hitch happens someone stopped caring, stopped doing the little things that matters- someone that is definitely not you- you tried reaching out for him/her, you tried making it all good but only to realise that they've gotten out of your reach that even your cries and pleas seems distant or out of their hearing range when they don't even see the silent tears o...
