JCI @ 100 YEARS


Junior Chamber International, an international membership based non-profit organization of young people within the age range of 18-40 in over 120 countries of the world acting locally but making impact globally, seeking targeted solutions to the greatest world problems of our time is here again.

 On the afternoon of October 13th in the year 1915, the global organization called JCI (Formerly called YMPCA as at then) came into existence and ever since then, it has been waxing stronger and stronger, extending its tentacles to almost all the countries in the world.

 Dear friends, colleagues, partners come Tuesday, October 13th 2015, join JCI University of Ilorin as they celebrate the 100 years of their international organization by  EQUIPPING  100 PRIMARY SCHOOL CHILDREN in their community, sending them back to school happy.

 JCI UNILORIN PROJECT IMPACT 100

 JCI University of Ilorin has chosen 2 primary schools in its community(50Students each) to equip its pupils especially the ones that comes to school barefooted and without writing materials and we will be donating;
100 School Sandals
100 White pair of Socks
100 Exercise Books and
100 Biro and pencils.

 The Plea.
JCI urge on you to Join them in celebrating the 100 years of their organisation.
Join them in empowering and equipping 100 future leaders.

The exercise commenced at 7am with the presence of the Nigerian Red Cross Ilorin Chapter, Corp members of sanitation and environment CDS, Kwara State ministry of environment and some volunteers who heard about the project from friends and social media publicity. While the sanitation exercise was going on, a group of heroes nation ambassadors took time in sensitizing the buyer and sellers present at the market on the benefit of staying dirt free using different Nigerian languages, this created a bond between the heroes nations representatives and the Ipata Marketers. Love Language This is the way of expressing one's love feelings towards one's family, friend, spouse, girlfriend, or any other loved one Primary Language of Love: I refer to this as the best preferred way or act to express one's love to another person. APPRECIATED

It’s always a hurtful thing when we don’t feel appreciated or loved when we perform a good deed or help out in different ways that we can, especially for people we hold dear to our hearts. Funny thing is, everyone (Like God, our father) loves to be appreciated or acknowledged for a job well done or for a stitch in time that we make, and there is nothing wrong with that. In a small way we are all heroes. For us to acknowledge the work of others or the effort of friendships or any kind of relationship in our lives, we need to have an increased measure of sensitivity and a heart of gratitude.
