Life Expectations.




Life is all about challenges, obstacles and hurdles towards achieving the great height of success. Our reaction to these present the person we really are.
Expectations in life is a very critical issue but so many of us sees it as a norm.
 Like everyone should have what they are expectant of!
Dont get it twisted, when I mean expectation, I am referring to giving and receiving.

Sometimes ago, a friend of mine was critically ill but all glory to God he struggled to recovery stage, at the point of recovery, he picked up his mobile and started listing out names of friends to eliminate from his life. Why? Some even go as far as saying; "Its God that allowed me know the kinda person you are" cos they at some point don't meet up to your intents. I really don't blame him, he expected so much from his friends with the thought that he once rendered one assistance or the other to them at some point which in turn make them indebted to him.

My dear, life does not play out in that philosophy across all areas. When you give out something, don't expect to receive from the same person or at all from anyone. Understand that its not a free will to give out a chunk of you, its an obligation! Do all your giving wholeheartedly with no aim of getting in return, expect nothing back from no one; maybe cos you're into a positive act of saving lives or your usual daily bidding, you now because of that expect to get paid in the same coin; please erase that notion from your heart, so that you don't get stranded and hurted on the ladder of success.
But remember, when you give out something bitter, you get paid back in that coin with a rapid response to crown it. Someone will ask me "why"? I guess I'll say; "Ask Nature" Cos I realize Karma works faster when its on the negative route as to when its on the positive.

Live each day with joy and happiness of heart, learn to give out each day, pray each day, appreciate and cherish whatever is given to you no matter how little it may be but remember no one is indebted to you.
Keep giving, always render assistance within your power, go the extra mile to positively have an impact in someone; train yourself to let go of situations that can affect you negatively and remember God exists.

I hope this insights reduces our idea of expecting so much from people. The philosophy is: "The lesser you expect, the higher your chances of independency". The higher your charity and letting go, the lesser the pain of  your hurts.

    Nice one yanju. My experience was on my birthday. Even mum and dad didn't wish me nicely, it hurt so very much. Wish I had this in mind before then. Thanks. Expecting more from you on time. All the best dear.
