PROJECT KEEP IT CLEAN


 



Heroes Nation's social change ambassadors embarks on a project to keep 'Ipata Market' Clean  working in line with United Nation Sustainable development goal(Goal 3, Goal 6, Goal 13).
The reason not far-fetched than to enlighten the marketers and patronizers of this market on Sanitation and cleanliness hygiene which is one of the ways the world can be a better place in 2030 -SDG 3,6 &13.
This community project would be coming up on Saturday, 2nd December 2017 at Ipata Market, Ilorin. Kwara State at exactly 6:30 am.

Members of heroes nation, other non-governmental organizations and even individuals would be coming with all form of cleaning materials, from brooms to rakes to wheelbarrows to make sure Ipata Market is dirt free again, also creating awareness to the marketers in different dialects on the importance of cleanliness in our environment.

You aren't left out to participate in this project as participation is free to all. The essence of healthiness, clean environment and sanitation should be our watchword as cleanliness is next to Godliness.


Project 400 heroes(Social Change Ambassadors) is one of the initiatives of Heroes Nation. It is a project targeted at raising 400heroes who will serve as ambassadors to Heroes Nation for the next 1year.
Project Keep it clean( Dec 2nd event) is one of the Programs packed under #Project400heroes.
Other programs and projects are; Peace Walk(Dec 9), Heroes Give and Share Day(Dec 16) and more.

Project400heroes provides the opportunity to serve the nation and align with global goals alongside other young social change agents is our primary concern.

We have been witnessing cleaning exercises but this one got a different grading. Heroes Nation Social Change Ambassadors did a very wonderful sanitation exercises at Ipata Market, Ilorin, Kwara State. The exercise commenced at 7am with the presence of the Nigerian Red Cross Ilorin Chapter, Corp members of sanitation and environment CDS, Kwara State ministry of environment and some volunteers who heard about the project from friends and social media publicity. While the sanitation exercise was going on, a group of heroes nation ambassadors took time in sensitizing the buyer and sellers present at the market on the benefit of staying dirt free using different Nigerian languages, this created a bond between the heroes nations representatives and the Ipata Marketers. APPRECIATED

It’s always a hurtful thing when we don’t feel appreciated or loved when we perform a good deed or help out in different ways that we can, especially for people we hold dear to our hearts. Funny thing is, everyone (Like God, our father) loves to be appreciated or acknowledged for a job well done or for a stitch in time that we make, and there is nothing wrong with that.
