Secret Disciples

Secret Disciples

When we do things in life, sometimes we think we do them out of pleasure, or out of personal interest but we are totally wrong. Especially when we do them for personal interest,we feel no one is watching us except God. Funny enough, some of us even know what are engaged into is very wrong and we intentionally say " God forgive me, I just have to do this" or 'Father in Heaven, forgive me for this thing am about to do'.
The plan truth is that there is one little person whom we do not know exist, sitting somewhere watching us- our dressing, our moves, the way we react to issues of life- in fact watching everything about us. That little( or maybe an adult) person is called our SECRET DISCIPLE. May be referred to as Secret Admirer also.
Our secret admirer wants to be like us,wants to do everything we do,imitate and imbibe our lifestyles - sing the songs we sing the way we sing them, make the same moves we make with our hands and head, follow the path we choose to follow-.
Now, I want you to know that we all have a secret disciple attached to our lives ( though they may be more than one).
Let's Imagine this
      1. If you fail or lose focus of your life and destiny. How awful and pathetic!....your secret man has failed.
      2. If you have a secret disciple in every location of your life, then all of them tends to see you in wide television screen, imbibing that lost of track you had, they all lose track also.
So I encourage you today,as youth that will lead a better future to imbibe and cultivate good, rightful and Godfearing characters so we don't fail in our personal lives and also fail our secret disciples.
May Almighty God help us to leave a life that is pleasing to Him,our parent, ourselves, our friends, our society and most importantly our secret disciples.

Have a wonderful day.
Thanks for reading and please share what you think about Secret Disciples and also experiences.

  2. secret disciples, those who call us mentors, role models( both are different to some people, discussion for another day) i agree we all have one or two or even more. but i want to pose an intellectual argument- do we have secret disciples for the bad things we do? my experience includes of me being a secret disciple of a man i was once admire so much in an area of life, then he made a mistake, that i have learnt from and wont make that mistake, which brings an addition contribution to your work - we can lose our secret disciples and they can also learn from our mistakes so far we ourselves learn from them and move on from our mistakes as they even give our secrets admirers something to not make mistakes from and also a way out it for anyone around them who makes such.

    1. Thank you for sharing your experience, your secret disciples watches everything you do either good or bad. When we make mistakes, they either imitate the mistake or correct themselves like you did. I had an experience sometimes this year, my disciple came to me to ask why I did what I did, I explained and I knew he was one. What if he didn't come? He would have acted the way I did to that issue or otherwise. When we are secret disciples, we should learn to do the right thing whether the person has done it right or wrong. And also know others are watching us secretly either for envy or as role models.

We have been witnessing cleaning exercises but this one got a different grading. Heroes Nation Social Change Ambassadors did a very wonderful sanitation exercises at Ipata Market, Ilorin, Kwara State. Where the SDGs (Goals 3, 6 & 13) were the Focus of the Sanitation and Sensitization today. The exercise commenced at 7am with the presence of the Nigerian Red Cross Ilorin Chapter, Corp members of sanitation and environment CDS, Kwara State ministry of environment and some volunteers who heard about the project from friends and social media publicity. While the sanitation exercise was going on, a group of heroes nation ambassadors took time in sensitizing the buyer and sellers present at the market on the benefit of staying dirt free using different Nigerian languages, this created a bond between the heroes nations representatives and the Ipata Marketers. This activity revealed some of the heart cries of some of the marketers who marveled at the energetic, cheerful and interactive ...

Love Language

Love Language This is the way of expressing one's love feelings towards one's family, friend, spouse, girlfriend, or any other loved one Primary Language of Love: I refer to this as the best preferred way or act to express one's love to another person. Major Love Languages are: 1. Words of affirmation 2. Giving of gifts 3. Acts of service 4. Quality time 5. Physical touch All humans have one or more of the 5 major Love Languages as part of their attribute. They show it unconsciously to everyone they get closely related to. Most people don't know their Love Languages and that's part of the reasons they have interpersonal problems relating among friends, associates, colleagues, families etc. Love Languages aren't only for people sexually related or people in love but exist among friends and family. It is the way you presently relate with siblings, families and friends that you most likely extend to that soul mate of yours. Some people don't s...

APPRECIATED

It’s always a hurtful thing when we don’t feel appreciated or loved when we perform a good deed or help out in different ways that we can, especially for people we hold dear to our hearts. Funny thing is, everyone (Like God, our father) loves to be appreciated or acknowledged for a job well done or for a stitch in time that we make, and there is nothing wrong with that. In a small way we are all heroes. For us to acknowledge the work of others or the effort of friendships or any kind of relationship in our lives, we need to have an increased measure of sensitivity and a heart of gratitude. These magic words are short, simple to understand and are easy to apply but are not used as often as they should: Thank you, I love you, that’s thoughtful, Please, That’s thoughtful and I appreciate it, you did a great job; keep it up, etc. As important as words can be, nothing is more proving of your gratitude than your actions. Actions speak louder than words, you know? Another way to s...
