JCIN-Unilorin's Street Edu Project

I personally took interest in these kids but it could fetch little or no action till this passionate humanitarian organization kicked off a project tagged 'Street Edu Project'.
  After interviewing the 2016/2017 president of JCI Unilorin, in person of Kugbiyi Korede Ayobami who said;

Education: That one weapon that you can empower a man with to go beyond begging for a fish, to giving him the chance to catch a fish by himself.
Junior Chamber international UNILORIN in Conjunction with Home kids Street Initiative is more interested in educating the minds of the less privileged than just giving them 'fish'
A project centered on educating a group of Hausa speaking children, who face alot of danger every day from begging for money to begging for biscuits to begging for comfort. It is a major concern as educating them is key to ensuring they have a bright future ahead of them.
Twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays we give in our best to ensure these kids find value in education.
The goal of the project is to get these kids into a proper school system. Teaching them twice a week is the first phase of the project which ends by April , which  will give way into the second phase."

I realized their passion for these kids was greater than what I had when I passed through the road of Tipper Garage, Tanke,Ilorin. Kwara State. I decided to join the organization in the outcry for sponsorship and partnership.

We have been witnessing cleaning exercises but this one got a different grading. Heroes Nation Social Change Ambassadors did a very wonderful sanitation exercises at Ipata Market, Ilorin, Kwara State. Where the SDGs (Goals 3, 6 & 13) were the Focus of the Sanitation and Sensitization today. The exercise commenced at 7am with the presence of the Nigerian Red Cross Ilorin Chapter, Corp members of sanitation and environment CDS, Kwara State ministry of environment and some volunteers who heard about the project from friends and social media publicity. While the sanitation exercise was going on, a group of heroes nation ambassadors took time in sensitizing the buyer and sellers present at the market on the benefit of staying dirt free using different Nigerian languages, this created a bond between the heroes nations representatives and the Ipata Marketers. This activity revealed some of the heart cries of some of the marketers who marveled at the energetic, cheerful and interactive ...

YES! YOU CAN.

Why are you doubting the capacity of your ability? Why are you scared of launching the goodies in you? Making the precious stones to glitter is one of the paramount thing why we are created. Do you know that  MTN came to Nigeria at a time when nobody wanted to invest in Nigeria, at a time when Nigerians did not have phones. Even Zenith Bank refused to loan MTN cash to operate,UBA rejected MTN's offer but today see the difference. What about Cowbell? When they came to Nigeria,they made milk in a sachet, Peak was laughing at them - they said Cowbell was milk for the poor - but they were right! 3-million poor people could afford N10 a day for a sachet of milk.Oya, do the math - 3 million people buying milkat N10.00- that was N30million every single day.In a month they grossed N900million (almost N1billion).Even Peak had to make sachet milk in order to survive in the market. So what have people told you?What have they said you cannot do, or you do not qualify for, or...

I CAN

There's always a way to do everything. There's nothing named "CAN'T". Too often we fail in our efforts because we have been brought up believing that we cannot do some things. The people who change the world are people who have taken impossible out of their dictionaries. The men and women who make changes in history are those who came against the odds and believing that it's impossible for the odds to stop them. No one can determine how much you can produce except you and God. So there is nothing in this world that should stop you from accomplishing, realising, fulfilling and maximising your full potential.  If you think it, you can do it. If you can conceive it, the fact that you can conceive it means you can do it.  It doesn't matter if it's never been done. Likewise, if you never THOUGHT of it, then you can't do it. Thinking doesn't get it done alone, it also implies that you can do it. Picture yourself doing the things in your tho...
